Annette Elizabeth Sykes

Education: Born in Higham Ferrers, Northants, Annette went to The Wellingborough High School for Girls and then on to Coventry College to Study Art and Sculpture, but left early. She subsequently worked as a screen print designer, then went on to study Textile Design and Embroidery when her family were older. She now works from her own Blue Frog Studio to which visitors are welcome.

Statement: mixed media seascapes are the latest body of work from International fine art painter/printmaker Annette Elizabeth Sykes. Born of a passion for the energy of the sea and a love of our landscape, these images are some of her best works yet, encompassing not only the water but the harbours and marshes around our countryside.
